After the victory, Ukrainian tennis player Daria Snigur shook hands with Russian Daria Kasatkina, who changed her sports citizenship. The meeting took place in Madrid on April 22 in the first round of the WTA tournament and ended with a score 6:3, 3:6, 7:6.

"Australia is a place that I love and where I really feel at home," Kasatkina said.

Kasatkina, who previously played for Russia, announced on January 17 that she had received a certificate of Australian citizenship.
