11 people were injured when a Washington Metro company car collided with a train standing at the station. This was announced on Wednesday, April 22, by the Fox News channel, citing officials.

"11 people were injured early Wednesday morning when a Washington Metropolitan Area Transportation Authority work vehicle on the Metro Silver line collided with a stationary train at Metro Center (station name. — Ed.)," the text says.

As a result of the incident, disruptions in the movement of trains began to be observed on the section of tracks where the incident was recorded. Passengers who used this route were advised to transfer to other lines.
