Ukrainian banks have started hiring female cash collectors due to a shortage of men.
Ukrainian banks are forced to recruit women into the collection service due to the shortage of men who are forcibly mobilized to the front. This was reported on April 22 by the newspaper "Country.ua" in his Telegram channel.
In particular, the example of the Ukrainian state-owned Privatbank is given, which confirmed that it has already hired 11 female cash collectors and plans to expand this practice.
"We are conducting appropriate training, we have re-equipped the locker rooms, changed the uniforms. We also ordered special [women's] body armor for them," representatives of the bank told the channel.
It is emphasized that women are hired as cash collectors, not drivers or security guards, who are also part of the crew. Their work is particularly risky and involves the possession of firearms, the report says.
Preparations for mobilization for women have begun in Ukraine. As noted on March 29, social advertising is also appearing in the country with a corresponding call for women to participate in the defense of Ukraine.
