The weather forecaster warned Muscovites about precipitation before the end of the month

Today's Wednesday is the last chance to enjoy the relatively warm and clear weather in the capital region until the end of the month. Cyclones and precipitation are expected next. Anatoly Tsygankov, head of the Department of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, warned about this on April 22.

"The warmest and sunniest day until the end of the month is today. Partly cloudy skies, westerly winds and temperatures of about +3 degrees are expected in Moscow and the region on Tuesday," he said in an interview with Radio 1.

According to the expert, the cyclone is moving towards the capital from the north. He will reach Moscow by Wednesday evening.

Tsygankov noted that a small "break between two cyclones" is planned for Saturday, but it will be accompanied by precipitation.

"The next cyclone will arrive on Sunday, this time from St. Petersburg. This wave will last for Monday and Tuesday. At night, the thermometer may drop to -1 degrees, during the day it will be from +2 to +7 degrees, but you should not wait for the sun — precipitation will persist," said the forecaster.

On the same day, the Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development announced that Moscow motorists should refrain from traveling by private transport due to a sharp deterioration in weather conditions, which is forecast on the evening of April 22, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
