Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that the unique culture of the Seychelles will be of interest to Russians. He stated this on April 22 during a meeting with President of the Republic of Seychelles Patrick Ermini.

"We also have ongoing humanitarian contacts. I am sure that the Russian public will certainly be interested in the unique culture of your country," he said.

The President also noted that the flow of Russian tourists to the Seychelles is growing, and there are prospects for further increase.
