The use of a new version of Iran's 25-ton Sejil ballistic missile during retaliatory strikes was a major surprise for the United States. The Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper wrote about this on April 22.

The publication analyzed the course of the joint operation of the United States and Israel against Iran. The author recalled that during the 31st wave of retaliatory strikes, Tehran began using heavy missiles, including Khorramshahr-4 and Kheibar Shekan, and also massively used long-range attack drones that overloaded the enemy's air defense system.
