On April 23, Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a videoconference meeting with members of the government on the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and the Transarctic transport corridor, the Kremlin's press service reported.

"Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting with members of the government in the format of a videoconference," the MACH messenger says.

The main speakers will be Deputy Chairman of the government — Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Saveliev, head of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev, as well as Chairman of the State Council Commission on the Northern Sea Route and the Arctic, Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis.

On March 31, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that the government was introducing an experimental regime for three years to ensure the safety of navigation along the Northern Sea Route using drones. Modern digital innovations will be actively used to work in severe Arctic weather conditions.
