Lavrov pointed to the role of the West in fueling conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine.

During the meeting, the Russian Foreign Minister also pointed out that representatives of the Kiev regime, who had persecuted the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) and renounced their spiritual roots, were ready to "lay the lives of millions" of Ukrainian citizens on the altar of the interests of Western states.
