A criminal case has been opened after the discovery of a murdered baby in the Moscow region.

A criminal case has been opened into the murder of a newborn girl by her mother in the village of Bolshevik, Moscow region. This was announced on April 22 by the press service of the Regional Investigative Committee (IC).

"Behind the site of containers for collecting household waste, located in the courtyard of multi-storey buildings along Lenin Street in the village of Bolshevik in the Serpukhov city district, the body of a newborn girl with stab wounds was found," reads the UK page on the VKontakte social network.

According to the report, investigators and criminologists examined the scene. Interrogations and search operations are currently underway.

A witness in the case of "black realtors" became the accused, and her daughter told how her parents hid the corpse in the couch.

On April 12, the body of a dead baby was found in Tyumen, and a criminal case was opened under Article 106 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of a newborn child by a mother"). According to the investigation, local residents found a bag with a child's body in a wooded area near residential buildings on Igrimskaya Street.
