Bicycle theft cases have become more frequent in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Since the beginning of 2026, 42 episodes have been recorded, 28 of which occurred in the regional capital, the press service of the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.

The police have already solved 15 thefts. Part of the property was seized and handed over to the owners. The work on identifying the attackers continues, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

Two-wheeled vehicles are most often stolen from entrances. In this regard, the guards recommend not to leave the bike near houses at night, even if it is fastened with a special lock.

To avoid theft, you can also engrave the parts, wheels, frame, or paste individual stickers. Keep the documents you received at the store when buying the bike and take a picture of it in its entirety "in profile".
