Spring and summer are considered the optimal time for finishing work, but during this period it is important to take into account rising prices and plan the repair stages correctly. This was reported to Izvestia on April 26 by experts from the ROCKWOOL company.

According to them, in the warmer months it is easier to carry out wall painting, wallpaper gluing, flooring and door replacement. An additional advantage is the possibility of regular ventilation of the premises.

At the same time, the high season is accompanied by an increase in the load on construction crews and an increase in the cost of services and materials. In this regard, experts recommend planning purchases in advance and tracking promotions, as well as using online calculators to accurately calculate volumes.

Experts emphasized that major engineering work — electrics, plumbing and installation of complex systems — require special control and are often performed separately from finishing.

According to them, a step-by-step approach is considered the most effective: first, dismantling and preparation, then engineering, roughing and finishing. This format allows you to reduce the burden on the budget and minimize errors. The experts added that indoor noise insulation remains one of the most sought-after areas.

"One of the most effective solutions here is considered to be a box-in-a-box sound insulation system, which provides comprehensive insulation of walls, floors and ceilings. As a result, an independent soundproof contour is formed inside the room, reducing the transmission of noise through the main enclosing structures of the building," said Alexander Korshunov, manager of the DIY and Acoustics segments at ROCKWOOL.

Yulia Egorova, Assortment Director of the Veresk furniture factory, said on April 22 that minimalism and Scandinavian style are losing popularity, giving way to the so-called dopamine interior with bright colors and individual accents. According to the expert, modern interiors increasingly reflect the personality of the owner: people tend to get away from faceless spaces by adding color, textures and individual details.
