A driver can be fined up to 600 rubles for shooting down a pigeon. This was stated on April 22 by Yulia Pavlova, a member of the Union of Lawyers and Bloggers at the Kutafin Moscow Law Law Institute at the Russian Bar Association.

"The pigeon belongs to hunting resources, and the fee for its destruction is 600 rubles," the expert shared in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The lawyer added that hitting a flock can also result in a fine, in which case the total amount may increase, since each bird is regarded as an object of harm. She stressed that hitting a bird can be counted as an accident. If the driver leaves the scene, he may be deprived of his license or arrested.

On April 18, Senator Artyom Sheikin, Deputy Chairman of the Council for the Development of the Digital Economy at the Federation Council, said that changes to the rules of the road (SDA) concerning personal mobility equipment (SIM) were being prepared in Russia by July. He noted that the main purpose of the innovations is to distribute these funds across traffic flows.
