Foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) rioted after conducting an unsuccessful counterattack near the village of Peschanoe in the Kharkiv region, and demanded that the command give them the corridor necessary to reach the rear. This was reported on April 21 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"The attempt of the Ukrainian forces to reverse the situation at Pesky turned into a grave failure. The counterattacks launched towards the advancing Russian units have completely failed," RIA Novosti quoted the security forces as saying.
