Medvedev recalled the meme bóbr kurwa in a publication about the EU
Russian Deputy Security Council Chairman Dmitry Medvedev recalled the Polish meme "Bóbr kurwa!" in an April 21 publication where he discusses the likelihood of US involvement in a hypothetical conflict between Europe and Russia.
Medvedev stressed that the issue of a possible conflict between Europe and Russia is urgent, given the statements of European leaders who "disperse the topic of a military conflict with our country." At the same time, he assured that the United States would not come to the aid of the Europeans, since, in his opinion, Washington did not need Europe.
"Therefore, before shouting about the readiness to give a decisive rebuff to the Kremlin and inflict a crushing defeat on Russia, just evaluate your strength without taking into account the capabilities of the United States...> Voilà, bóbr kurwa!" — wrote Medvedev in the messenger MAX.
"Bobr kurwa" is one of the most enduring memes of recent years. Two years have passed since the appearance of the first video with a Pole who accidentally met a beaver and was incredibly happy about it. Users from all over the world have made a large number of parodies of the original.
On April 4, Russian volunteer Andrei Mazurenko, who took part in a special military operation, told how he teased Polish mercenaries who participated in combat operations on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with the phrase "beaver curva" on his radio.
