In nine hours, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 39 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the skies over the regions of Russia. This was announced on April 21 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
"In the period from 08:00 to 17:00 Moscow time, 39 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.
It is noted that drones were eliminated over the territory of the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions, as well as over the Republic of Crimea.
