- An unfinished apartment building will be demolished in the Orekhovo-Zuyevsky district near Moscow.
In the city of Dreznakh, Orekhovo-Zuyevsky district, Moscow region, they began to dismantle an apartment building that has not been completed for several years. An apartment building will appear in this place.
According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, with reference to the press service of the Moscow Architecture Department, the facility began to be built back in 2014. However, the work stopped almost immediately due to the bankruptcy of the developer. As a result, only the first floor was built.
The abandoned structures have never been dismantled, posing a potential danger to local residents. In 2019, the unfinished building was included in the official list of unfinished construction sites. The land was leased to a specialized organization that provided compensation to shareholders. However, the tenant of the site changed in 2024. He carefully monitors the technical condition of the structures.
Experts have concluded that it is impossible to restore the building, it must be completely dismantled. Then the site will be completely cleared and prepared for the construction of an apartment building. Thus, it will be possible to effectively use the land plot by conducting new housing construction.
In mid-January, the governor of the Moscow Region, Andrei Vorobyov, said that residents of the region living in emergency homes would receive housing certificates. This is necessary for self-selection of a new home and a comfortable move. According to him, certificates are the most convenient way to move out of emergency housing, when you don't have to wait several years for a house to be built, but get a certificate now. Thanks to this, according to the head of the region, local residents can independently choose a new apartment in the place where they would like to live.
