Iran has violated the ceasefire agreement with the United States several times. This was announced on April 21 by the American President Donald Trump.

"Iran has repeatedly violated the ceasefire!" he wrote on his page on the Truth Social network.

The American leader did not provide specific cases of violations of the truce by Tehran.

The day before, Trump said that the temporary ceasefire between the United States and Iran would most likely not be extended. He also specified the end time of the truce. According to Trump, it will be "Wednesday evening Washington time," that is, the night of April 22-23 Moscow time. The US president did not specify the specific time when the contract expires.

The Axios portal explained on April 21 that Iran is delaying negotiations with the United States due to pressure from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which insists on a tougher stance. According to him, Pakistani, Egyptian and Turkish mediators called on the Iranians to attend the meeting. Trump has threatened to resume bombing if an agreement is not reached.
