Kama will open Atom electric car maintenance services in 10 cities

During 2026, it is planned to open more than 10 partner services for servicing Atom electric vehicles in Russia, and by 2030 the network should be represented in more than 40 cities of the country. This was announced by the press service of the Kama company, the developer of the domestic electric car, on April 21.

At the moment, the first centers are ready to open on the basis of dealerships and service sites with experience in servicing cars of international brands in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Naberezhnye Chelny. Their employees have received special training for the repair and maintenance of Atom electric vehicles.

Existing service centers can join the company's partner network. The basic functional format of the service provides for routine maintenance, diagnostic and plumbing work as part of commercial and warranty repairs. The expanded format includes fully functional centers with a wide range of jobs, including maintenance and repair of high—voltage systems.

Taxi and carsharing services will become a separate area: it is planned to open enterprises for their own fleet maintenance, which will reduce downtime and improve the efficiency of electric vehicles, the company noted.

The start of sales of Atom electric vehicles has not yet been announced. As reported in January, the model is scheduled to go on sale in April 2026. For those who pre-order, the price is 3.9 million rubles, and when buying on credit or leasing, there is a state subsidy of 925 thousand rubles, said a representative of the Kama company.

As it became known on April 15, it was reported that residents of Moscow and the Moscow region will be able to rent a domestic Atom electric car for a long-term subscription. This allows you to use the car for several months to several years and pay only a fixed monthly amount.
