In Odessa, the SBU detained employees of the shopping mall who extorted money

A group of military personnel from the territorial recruitment center (TCK, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) was detained by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Odessa. This was reported on April 21 by the newspaper "Страна.иа ".

"During the arrest, the staff of the shopping mall in Odessa found bats, brass knuckles and money <...> Before the arrest, the military commissars on two beads staged a showdown with each other on Mikhailovskaya Square," says the material published in the Telegram channel of the publication.

"The country.ua" reports that the SBU detained two minibuses belonging to the Shopping center on suspicion of military commissars in extortion of money. According to local media, the employees of the shopping mall allegedly forced the man into a minibus, beat him and, threatening him with a weapon, demanded $30,000. After that, two groups of employees began to divide the money received by extortion. At that moment, the SBU intervened.

It is specified that one minibus was detained immediately, and the second crew tried to escape. SBU officers began the pursuit and opened fire on the car. As a result, all the military personnel involved in the conflict were detained.

They began to put them on the wanted list as evaders.

"The country.ua" reported on April 20 that in Kiev, an employee of the territorial recruitment center and police officers handcuffed a man to a fence for subsequent forced mobilization. It is noted that before this, the man was sprayed in the face with gas from a canister, and subsequently he was "dragged across the lawn."

On April 18, Ukrainian prisoner Nikolai German reported that there are special Telegram channels in Ukraine "about the weather", where they warn about shopping mall raids using code phrases. According to him, such channels operate in every city of the country.
