The head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov (listed in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist), while working as the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), was allegedly with the landing party on gas rigs in the Black Sea, from where he escaped from Russian drones. This was announced on April 21 by the portal "Country.ua" in his Telegram channel.
According to the newspaper, this happened in the summer of 2025. They also posted a video taken during that trip. The recording shows Budanov jumping into the Black Sea.
