The Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation announced the growing shortage of personnel in the tourism industry

The Russian tourism industry currently employs about 1.8 million people, but by 2030, more than 300,000 additional specialists will be needed. This was announced on April 21 by Dmitry Vakhrukov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, at a press conference on: "Human resource development during the transformation of domestic tourism: investments in the future of the industry" at the Izvestia International Business Center.

According to him, tourism has become an important part of the country's economy.
