The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation took control of 34 settlements in the special military operation zone in March and April. This was announced on April 21 by Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.
"During March and April, Russian troops liberated 34 settlements and about 700 square kilometers of territory," he said during an inspection of the Southern Group of Troops.
