An earthquake of magnitude 5.0 occurred in the Avacha Bay off the coast of Kamchatka. This was announced on April 21 in the Kola branch of the Federal Research Center "Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences" (KOF FIC YGS RAS) in their Telegram channel.

It is noted that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 70 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The seismic event was located at a depth of 66.2 km under the seabed.
