Russians living in apartment buildings may face a fine of up to 80,000 rubles for noise from repair work at lunchtime. This was announced on April 21 by Tatyana Lakhtina, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of State Law and Criminal Law Disciplines at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
"In Moscow, the administrative fine ranges from one to two thousand rubles for citizens; from 4 to 8 thousand rubles for officials; and from 40 to 80 thousand rubles for legal entities. In the Moscow region — for citizens in the amount of one to three thousand rubles; for officials — from 5 to 10 thousand rubles; for legal entities — from 20 to 50 thousand rubles," she said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
