The expert recommended to rearrange the working day in the summer
In summer, you should adjust your workday to the biorhythms of the season in order to maintain productivity. This was announced on April 21 by the expert of the Presidential Academy Tatiana Podolskaya.
"At the same time, one should not try to force oneself to work through force. It is better to adjust the working day to the biorhythms of summer: solve difficult tasks in the morning, and leave routine work for the evening when the heat subsides," she said in an interview with TASS.
Podolskaya noted that productivity can decrease in summer weather for several reasons — due to heat, lack of oxygen and a desire to relax. She also noted that the brain works slower this season, as the body saves energy for cooling.
According to the expert, an employer can set a more flexible work schedule in the summer in a local regulatory act. For example, he may allow employees to start the working day earlier, from 8:00 a.m., and finish it by 4 p.m., and during the hottest hours, from 12:00 a.m. to 2 p.m., take a long break or go to work in the shade. In addition, Podolskaya advised installing fans or air conditioners, putting plants and hanging light curtains in the office.
Kristina Sudnik, an entrepreneur and head of the Bahar Design brand, said on April 1 that the summer season of 2026 will be characterized by bright color combinations, loose fit and an emphasis on comfort, but when choosing clothes it is important to take into account not only trends, but also practicality.
