The Uragan crew destroyed the AFU UAV control point in the Kharkiv region

An artillery crew of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the self-propelled artillery regiment of the 4th Tank Division of the Zapad Group of Forces destroyed the control center for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kharkiv region. This was announced on April 21 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"We got the goal, so we left quickly and worked it out. Well, first of all, maneuverability is the best indicator here, right? The sooner we work out everything, the sooner we will leave, that is, the enemy has less chance of detecting us," said a senior battery officer with the call sign Kursk.

According to the ministry, calculations of the unmanned systems (UAVs) troops in the regiment during aerial reconnaissance revealed an enemy temporary deployment point on the outskirts of the village in Kupyansky district of the Kharkiv region, as well as a take-off pad for heavy hexacopters. The intelligence was promptly transferred to the on-duty crew of the Uragan MLRS combat vehicle.

It is specified that the Uragan crew hit enemy targets with a salvo of 220-millimeter rockets. The destruction of objects on the ground was recorded by means of objective control.

The Russian Defense Ministry added that after the end of the firing action, the crew turned off the combat vehicle and retreated to the waiting area, thereby eliminating the threat of a retaliatory strike.
