The Russian Embassy reported on the stable condition of a Russian woman injured in Mexico.

The condition of a Russian citizen injured during the shooting at the pyramids of Teotihuacan in the state of Mexico is stable. This was announced on April 21 at the Russian Embassy in Mexico.

It is specified that currently the staff of the consular department are in a medical facility. According to the diplomatic mission, about 10 people were injured. All the victims continue to receive the necessary assistance.

Tests were taken from the injured Russian woman and medical examinations were carried out. Doctors state that there is no threat to the woman's life.

The Reuters news agency reported on the same day that an armed man killed a Canadian tourist and injured several people near the pyramids in Teotihuacan, Mexico. It was clarified that after that the man committed suicide. Later, the Secretary of security of the state of Mexico, Cristobal Castaneda, said that a Russian citizen was injured in the shooting.
