- Two MPs were kicked out of a meeting of the House of Commons after Starmer's accusations of lying
Two MPs who called British Prime Minister Keir Starmer a liar were kicked out of a meeting of the House of Commons of Parliament. This was reported on April 20 by the LBC radio station.
It is clarified that during the meeting with parliamentarians, Starmer insisted that he was not aware of the appointment of Peter Mandelson, who is associated with American financier Jeffrey Epstein, as ambassador to the United States. In response, two MPs called the head of the British government a liar.
"[Deputy] Zara Sultana was suspended from parliament after calling the prime Minister a "brazen liar." <...> She became the second member of parliament to be kicked out of the courtroom, after Reform UK representative Lee Anderson also called the prime minister a "liar," the publication says.
Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, said on April 1 that Starmer could leave his post as a result of the revolution, which he "makes with his mistakes." This is how he commented on the news about the British Prime minister's attempts to "reassure" the country's residents who are concerned about Britain's spending on supporting the war with Iran.
