The best restaurant concepts of Russia are named

On Monday, April 20, the XX anniversary award "Palm Branch of the restaurant business" was held in Moscow. In the final, 12 gastronomic projects from seven regions of Russia competed for the title of the best new restaurant concept. A business festival with thematic performances and master classes from food industry professionals was also held as part of the award.

By the decision of the expert council, the Golden Palm Branch went to the Russian bistro Ba (Tula). It was also awarded in the "Jury's Choice" category. The Urban Winery project (Moscow) was awarded the "Silver Palm Branch". The Bronze Palm Branch was shared by three restaurants at once: Citadel (Nizhny Novgorod), Chere Maman (Moscow) and Michele (St. Petersburg).

In addition, Anton Pinsky was awarded the special nomination "Restaurateur of the Year".

The National award "Palm Branch of the restaurant business" has been awarded since 2006. Only restaurants that opened during the previous year can qualify for the professional award. The evaluation criteria are novelty, originality and potential commercial success of the concept.
