According to SakhalinMedia news agency, on the afternoon of April 21, bad weather is attacking Poronaisky, Uglegorsky, Makarovsky, Tomarinsky, Dolinsky, Kholmsky, Nevelsky, Anivsky, Korsakovsky districts and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. By evening, in the south of the region, the water level in the rivers is likely to rise by 0.5-1 m. In the Susuya River, it is possible for water to reach the floodplain.

Precipitation will be light in Okhinsky, Nogliksky, Alexandrovsk-Sakhalinsky, Tymovsky, and Smirnykhovsky districts. On the coast, the wind will increase to 20-25 m/s. Ice is possible in the east.

Unstable weather with precipitation and gusty winds is expected in the capital region this week. The temperature will be below the climatic norm.
