AvtoVAZ took part in the international industrial exhibition Innoprom. Central Asia – 2026" in Tashkent, where he presented a prototype of the Lada Azimut crossover. The company's press service announced this in its Telegram channel on April 20.

The crossover was demonstrated to Denis Manturov, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, and Jamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Investment, Industry and Foreign Economic Relations.

"More than 1,500 companies are participating in the exhibition, with representatives from more than 30 countries among the guests. For AVTOVAZ, this is an opportunity to show modern developments and strengthen business ties at one of the largest industrial sites in the region," the company noted.

The Lada Azimut crossover will receive modern comfort and safety options, including fully LED optics, a digital instrument panel with a 10-inch media system screen, wireless charging, a panoramic roof, dual-zone climate control and an all-round viewing system. The launch of production of the crossover is scheduled for the third quarter of this year, for which a large-scale modernization will take place at the plant in May.

Earlier, on April 9, AvtoVAZ reported on the testing of the Lada Azimut crossover: the model passed tests to verify reliability and adaptation to the roads and climate of Russia. Prior to that, on April 2, the company reported that in preparation for the official state certification, Lada Azimut crossovers had successfully passed factory validation tests for passive safety.
