About 1,500 veterans of the special operation became deputies of the EP in three years

Almost 1.5 thousand veterans of the special operation have been elected deputies of United Russia in three years and are ready to actively participate in the work at the municipal level. This was announced on April 20 by the chairman of the party, Deputy head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, speaking at the All—Russian municipal Forum "Small Motherland - the Strength of Russia."

"They enjoy absolute authority and trust in their towns and villages. They need to be actively involved in the work of local government. By the way, this can be a long career for some, but for others it will remain in their native places," he stressed.
