Russia is fighting against those who do not want it to exist on the world map. This was stated on April 20 by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council, during the All—Russian Municipal Forum "Small Motherland - the Strength of Russia."

"Wherever we work, <...> you and I are one country. <...> A country that fights against those who don't want our country to be. And you and I, respectively, are our children and our grandchildren," he said.

As the deputy head of the Russian Security Council noted, it is necessary to stop any activity of anti-Russian forces, no matter where it comes from. According to him, all the necessary resources, including responsible municipal employees, are available in the country.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova noted on April 18 that Western countries have not given up trying to seize Ukrainian black soil, Russian oil and gas, and reshape the world in their interests. According to her, we are talking about revanchism, which presupposes the victory of the West in reshaping the world's resources for itself, which is a manifestation of a colonialist attitude towards the planet.
