The court sentenced Alexey Taicher, the ex-co-owner of Transfin-M, to 11 years in prison in a general regime colony in a fraud case. This is reported by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

In addition, Taicher was fined 2 million rubles, and he was also deprived of the right to engage in organizational and administrative activities for two years and 10 months.

All lawsuits have been transferred to civil proceedings, and the seizure of funds has been maintained.

Alexey Taycher, the former co-owner of the leasing companies Transfin-M and SG-Trans, was detained in June 2024. At the same time, searches and seizure of documents in SG-Trans took place. According to investigators, in 2017, Taycher and his accomplices organized the conclusion of four fictitious loan agreements between PJSC Transfin-M and Rail Stream LLC for 937.5 million rubles, stealing at least 710 million. They were also charged with damages in the amount of 272 million rubles of accrued interest and other episodes of illegal activity. The total amount of damage in the case was estimated at about 1.2 billion rubles.
