- Sobyanin spoke about the development of telemedicine for children with special needs in Moscow
In Moscow's urban centers, telemedicine services for remote consultations are actively used to treat children with chronic diseases, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in his messenger channel.
As the mayor of the capital recalled, in 2025, six children's treatment centers for children with heart and gastrointestinal diseases, as well as four early care centers, were launched in Moscow. More than 5,000 children from the capital are attached to new high-tech medical care centers, and over 4,000 underage patients receive early care. Online consultations are available to patients in each of them. You can get them without referral if the child is attached to these medical institutions. An appointment for a remote consultation is available through the EMIAS application.INFO" and on the portal mos.ru . During the teleconference, the doctor can report and explain the test results, write out a prescription, and decide whether an appointment is necessary. Since the beginning of the centers' work, doctors have conducted more than 6 thousand online consultations.
At the same time, Sobyanin stressed, the results of the online consultation are recorded in the electronic medical history of the child, since all medical documentation is kept in the centers in electronic form. Thus, when communicating with a patient, doctors can immediately review the entire medical history, and parents, in turn, can always have the test results and medical reports at hand.
