On April 20, the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, Andrey Travnikov, announced the resignation of the Deputy chairman of the government of the region, Minister of Agriculture Andrey Shindelov. The decision was announced at an operational meeting in the regional government.

"Shindelov has resigned, the candidacy of his successor in the post should be agreed next Thursday," says a publication in the VKontakte group of the government of the Novosibirsk region.
