The MEP was outraged by the terms of the loan for €90 billion for Ukraine
The European Union's (EU) loan to Ukraine in the amount of €90 billion is a gift that Kiev will not be able to return, and the Europeans and their children will have to pay for it. This was announced on April 20 by MEP Thierry Mariani.
"Have you looked at the loan repayment terms? <...> This is a farce at best, and contempt for the voters at worst. You don't need to call it a loan, it's a gift of €90 billion to Ukraine," he told RIA Novosti.
