Israel is ready to accept tourists from Russia, as the situation with Iran has become less acute. This was announced on April 19 by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism.

"All hotels are operating normally and are looking forward to the return of guests from Russia, observing all necessary standards of hospitality and safety," said Ksenia Vorontsova, head of the representative office of the Israeli Ministry of Tourism in Russia, in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Vorontsova also noted the resumption of flights between the two countries and pointed out that Russian tourists have always been welcome in Israel.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on April 17 that the Russian side welcomes the conclusion of a truce between Israel and Lebanon. The Russian president's spokesman also noted that Moscow hopes to reach sustainable agreements that will help prevent new military clashes.

The truce between Israel and Lebanon for a period of 10 days came into force on the same day. Prior to that, the parties, with the mediation of the United States, agreed that a 10-day truce between Israel and Lebanon would come at 0:00 Moscow time on April 17.
