Guard Sergeant Nikolai Alekseev commanded the calculation of FPV drones and carried out the task of detecting and eliminating equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of the special military operation on April 20.
The crew conducted aerial reconnaissance, during which they identified the coordinates of the location of enemy self-propelled artillery installations (ACS) and the routes of the ammunition supply groups. Despite the work of enemy electronic warfare (EW) systems, the crew managed to make two sorties to launch drone strikes against targets. Three units of automotive equipment, one self-propelled gun and the personal force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were successfully eliminated.
The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the professionalism and bravery of Guard Lieutenant Ruslan Khalillaev, who commanded a motorized rifle platoon during the assault on the Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
As the motorized infantry approached the base, the enemy opened fire. Khalillaev ordered to change the route, securing the assault groups. Taking a hidden position, Khalillaev developed a plan for an assault from several directions, distributing the areas of responsibility among the motorized infantry. Having surrounded the enemy's base, the platoon went on the offensive. During the battle, Khalillaev personally eliminated five opponents. As a result, the stronghold was taken.
