Russian volunteers conducted training sessions before advancing to Kramatorsk
Russian military personnel of the 1st volunteer brigade "Wolves" conduct combat training before performing tasks in the area of a special military operation (SVO). The fighters told Izvestia about this on April 20.
According to the company commander of the Wolves brigade with the call sign Malador, groups of military personnel are currently being trained, who will soon perform tasks in the combat zone.
The commander of the Volkov company himself had previously participated in direct combat contact with the enemy. He was injured, but after receiving medical treatment in the hospital, he quickly returned to service.
"A Polka has arrived, it's a Polish 60mm mortar. Very close, hit by all the shrapnel. I spent three months in the hospital and it was fine, I recovered again, signed a contract and moved on," he told Izvestia correspondent Egor Kildibekov.
It is noted that the training is bearing fruit and, as the soldier said, the soldiers expect an attack on Kramatorsk soon.
"We are working, we are working with the staff. <...> There is someone to work with, and I think we will work soon. Kramatorsk, we will be there soon," Malador said.
In the course of combat work, air support is no less important for military personnel. Russian operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) accompany the attack aircraft and help them navigate the terrain.
"[It] directly depends on how the assault group will move and feel on the ground," said the operator of the UAV of the 1st volunteer brigade "Wolves" with the call sign Altai.
On April 18, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Russian army had hit energy and transport infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, the military also attacked the sites of preparation for the launch of UAVs and temporary locations of Ukrainian militants and foreign mercenaries in 145 districts.
