Iran suspects the United States of preparing a strike under the guise of negotiations

Iran suspects that the United States may use the resumption of dialogue as a cover for a new military strike on the republic. This was reported on April 20 by the journalist of the American edition of Axios, Barak Ravid, on the social network X, with reference to officials of the Islamic Republic.

According to Ravid, Tehran deliberately underestimates expectations of a possible dialogue and treats the initiatives of the American side with distrust, regarding them as a likely cover for a surprise attack.
