Russian law enforcement agencies reported the appearance of German law enforcement vehicles in Moldova on April 19.

"Special vehicles of the German police were seen on the streets of Chisinau <...> Considering the recent meeting of [Vladimir] Zelensky's meeting with German Chancellor [Friedrich] Merz, dedicated, among other things, to strengthening mobilization in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), there is a high probability that the appearance of German police officers in Moldova bordering Ukraine is no coincidence," the law enforcement agencies noted in an interview with TASS.

The agency's interlocutor noted that the German police may be involved in catching Ukrainian citizens who are fleeing forced mobilization.

On April 15, the Chernihiv region police announced the arrest of a man accompanying children on a bus. When checking the documents, law enforcement officers found that the man had violated the rules of military registration. The children were transferred to another bus, after which they continued on their way.
