The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts evacuated visitors and staff due to information received threatening people. By now, the work of the institution has been restored. This was announced on April 19 by the museum's press service.

"The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts is open and operating normally. <...> We apologize for the inconvenience," the press service wrote on the Telegram channel.

The museum also promised to refund the money within 14 days to all visitors who were forced to interrupt sessions due to evacuation, or reschedule their visit for another day.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on March 29 that Moscow is one of the largest megacities in the world in terms of the number of museums and exhibition halls. He noted that about 19 million people visited the capital's exhibitions and museums last year, and the number of visitors increased by almost a third over the year.
