The oil spill in the Tuapse River due to a fire at the marine terminal was localized before going to sea. This was announced on April 19 by the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory.

"Specialists have localized the spill of petroleum products in the waters of the Tuapse River. <...> The release of petroleum products into the sea is not allowed," Shitab's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that during the work, specialists used 750 m of booms, as well as five special devices for collecting oil. In addition, the special services equipped an oil trap to eliminate the oil slick.
