Reuters reported attempts to set synagogues on fire in London

The Kenton United Synagogue in north London has become another target of arson attacks on Jewish sites in the British capital in recent weeks. This was reported on April 19 by the Reuters news agency, citing an organization that ensures the security of the Jewish community in Great Britain.

"We are aware of another arson attempt, this time targeting a synagogue in north London, following similar recent incidents targeting the Jewish community in Finchley, Golders Green and Hendon," the Community Security Trust said in a statement.

According to the statement, minor smoke damage was recorded in one of the synagogue's interior rooms, but no one was injured and there was no significant structural damage. The London police have not yet commented on the incident at the synagogue. On the evening of April 17, an attempt was made to set fire to a commercial premises associated with the Jewish community, and a few days earlier, police arrested two suspects in an attempted arson attack on another synagogue in the English capital.

Meanwhile, the area around the Israeli embassy in London was cordoned off after an online report that it had been shelled by drones carrying "dangerous substances." The police later stated that the discovered items did not contain any harmful or dangerous substances.

Earlier, on March 20, in the Czech city of Pardubice, 120 km from Prague, unknown persons set fire to the warehouse of the defense company LPP Holding. A group of anonymous activists claimed to have burned down "a key manufacturing facility for weapons used in the genocide in the Gaza Strip. Later, Polish Interior Minister Lubomir Metnar said that the arson of the plant could be recognized as a terrorist act. On March 24, the Reuters news agency reported that Czech law enforcement agencies had reported on the arrest of three people suspected of setting fire to a defense industry enterprise in Pardubice.

On March 25, RBB24 TV channel reported that activists of the pro-Palestinian organization Peacefully Against Genocide During the rallies, the roof of the Rheinmetall defense concern plant in Berlin was seized. According to the protesters, the purpose of the action is to peacefully protest against "the fact that Berlin produces weapons that kill people in Palestine."
