The wife of the actor killed in Mytishchi wanted to get a divorce

The conflict between the murdered spouses in Mytishchi allegedly occurred because of the wife's desire to divorce her husband. This was announced on April 19 by the Prosecutor's office of the Moscow region.

"According to preliminary data, on April 19, 2026, at night in one of the apartments in the city of Mytishchi, there was a quarrel between the spouses, amid a conflict over the woman's desire to divorce," the prosecutor's office wrote on the Telegram channel.

The investigating authorities opened a criminal case into the murder. The progress and results of the investigation will be monitored by the Mytishchi City Prosecutor's Office.

On the same day, the bodies of the couple with stab wounds to the neck and chest were found after their quarrel in Mytishchi near Moscow. According to preliminary data, at night, screams of a quarrel between the spouses living there could be heard from the apartment located in the house on Vorovsky Street. Upon arrival of the staff of the operational investigation team, the door of the apartment on the 16th floor was locked from the inside.

According to the source of Izvestia, the dead are the actor of the Fest theater Vladislav Bengraf and his wife Evgenia. She was in charge of the make-up shop of the same theater.
