The Ministry of Health has identified medical contraindications for working as a security guard

The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation has approved a list of diseases in which citizens will not be able to get a job in security services. The relevant document is posted on the official Internet portal of legal information.

A total of 65 diseases are listed, of which 62 are mental disorders. We are talking about people suffering from chronic diseases such as schizophrenia, psychosis, gender identity disorder and the like.

In addition, three more illnesses are associated with physical ailments that may interfere with the performance of duties in the service. All of them relate to eye diseases, including blindness and visual impairment.
