Vladislav Buravlev, a veteran of the special military operation, a knight of the Order of Courage, said on April 19 that the commander of the Russian Armed Forces unit with the call sign Fox was covering the evacuation group, as a result of which he was injured and died.
"He was not obliged to go with the evacuation unit, but moved with him to evacuate our seriously wounded soldier, a machine gunner. He was covering the evacuation group and was injured, incompatible with life," the soldier said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
