The servicemen spoke about the use of unmanned systems in Konstantinovka.
Military personnel of the 4th Brigade of the Southern Group of Forces began using ground-based robotic systems to deliver food, equipment and ammunition in the area of the special military operation. The corresponding footage is published by Izvestia on April 19.
This technique is used in difficult and dangerous terrain, when delivery on foot or by car is difficult. In carrying out logistical tasks in Konstantinovka, the soldiers are assisted by an NRTK — a robotic trolley on a tracked or wheeled track.
"The NRTC passes through the fields and forests calmly, shows itself confidently. We use them to transport products, ammunition and FPV drones," said a soldier with the call sign Viking.
The battery charge of such a platform is enough to deliver cargo to a distance of 8-10 km and then return the system back.
At the same time, military personnel also use captured unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Baba Yaga type to deliver supplies. The drone has a payload of 10 kg and a flight range of up to 18 km. This makes the drone one of the most reliable means of delivery on the front line.
"Perhaps its only drawback is its size. Very noticeable," said Izvestia correspondent Egor Kildibekov.
Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Konstantinovka are trying to impersonate civilians by disguising themselves with civilian clothes. At the same time, the enemy's appearance almost always betrays him, since peacetime clothes are simply thrown on top of a military uniform.
"He gives out weapons, uniforms under civilian clothes, behavior and habits. Civilians don't behave like that. <..> As they say, a fisherman will see a fisherman from afar," said a fighter with the call sign Turian.
A day earlier, soldiers of the separate motorized rifle battalion of the 90th Guards tank Division of the Center group of forces spoke about the combat work and the operational situation in the Dnepropetrovsk area of the SVO zone. Russian attack aircraft have discovered fortified strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Additionally, the fortifications are also protected by concrete and metal floors. To overcome obstacles, infantrymen and operators of unmanned systems (UAVs) jointly use various means of fire destruction and smoke suppression of enemy fortifications.
