On the eve of the May holidays and the summer travel season, scammers began using a new scheme in which they offer the victim to buy plane or train tickets at a "special rate." On April 19, the press service of the Moshelovka platform of the Popular Front warned about this.

"April is the beginning of active booking of tickets for the May holidays and summer. Fraudsters send letters on behalf of airlines and Russian Railways offering to "redeem tickets at a special rate" or "confirm the reservation, otherwise the seats will be canceled." The letter contains a phishing link to a clone site," RIA Novosti reports.
